Happy Easter!

Here's the fun we had with those eater candies that are like whoppers. You lick them and put them on like lipstick. I had never heard of this fun until Steve just told me a few minutes ago!

Steve's birthday

Well my camera's batteries died during Steve's party and we only had one battery left. So I only got one picture of his birthday, and it's not even his party. But it's still cute.



Steve reeeeally wanted to mix his own cake mix. He loves using the mixer we got for our wedding. but i got to pour the mix into the capcake cups!
So happy birthday Steve!!!


This was actually from before Steve's birthday. But I got this for a bridal shower gift for our first movie night. But I completely forgot about it. So we put this dried corn cob in a paper bag and into the microwave. It was alot of fun and really cool. But it was all really burned.

Our new couches!!!

Hey! So we got our tax return and decided we wanted to get a couch and loveseat with some of it. So we've been looking at ksl.com alot and just looking for the perfect set. Well of course, with ksl.com, you don't get every single type of couch there is. Sooo beggars can't be choosers. But we found this set for a great deal and they're really nice!!! Here they are when they were just moved in.

And here's Steve when we got everything all set up and put where we wanted it. He's clearly not as excited about the new couches as I am...

We moved alot of stuff around. But now it feels more like a home than just a place with random furniture in it! I'm satisfied with it... for a while. Heehee.

Right now, our old couch is in the kitchen. Steve's sister said she wants it. So it's in our kitchen for a little bit until she comes and gets it.

Steve's amazing talent

I know we've told some of you about Steven's awesome talent. But I don't think we've actually had him show it to you. So here is a small preview for whenever you get to see it! :)
I'm just trying to think of things to blog since we don't do exciting things with our lives ...yet.

We might move. Is that exciting? I told mom and Monica a bit about it. We found it on ksl.com and it's amazing! Well from what I see. We'd actually have to see it in person to see if it really is amazing! But yeah. Because our lease ends in May, we've been apartment hunting. But the good thing is: even when our lease ends, we are still allowed to stay in our apartment and just pay month by month. Yeeeeah!

Spring Break

So this past week was spring break for WSU and what a spring break it was!!! We didn't have any cool plans...mainly because we don't really have extra money to spend to do anything cool.

Mom had gotten me this puzzle for Christmas because I was doing a puzzle over summer break to take up some time since I am such a bum. And we never did it and never did it because we didn't think it'd be fun. I only thought of them as time waster things or just something to do when you're bored.
Well, it was spring break and we were plenty bored!!!

Wednesday afternoon I got the puzzle out and we started it as a project together. It seemed better than just watching divorce court for 5 hours. At least this would challenge our minds.

On Thursday, I got really sick with sinus stuff. Then both of us were sick on Friday. So we worked Wednesday and Thursday, but not Friday because we were both too sick to care about it. Then we finished it last night! It was fun and we found a new free thing we like to do together!!!

We're going to start stealing...borrowing... Steve's mom's puzzles because she has alot.

ANYTHING SPORTS

Since we don't get the channel that has the Jazz games on, Steve relies on other news sources to learn about the sports and what happened in the games.

Obviously, he cannot properly watch the show if he is more than 2 feet away. haha. Just Kidding. But he is clearly in the zone... :)
